Software Review: Clipbird
Times are tough in the economy today, and oftentimes the price tags on computer software can seem far too exorbitant for the benefits they could offer. That’s is why it’s nice to occasionally come across freeware programs - a software product that let’s you name the price.
Aside from the hilarious name, Clipbird stands out as probably one of the few freeware tools available directly targeted to birders. The software is completely donation-funded, meaning you can donate anywhere from $0 - $what have you, whatever you feel compelled to give. True, it might not have all the feature of the big name guys, but it’s up-to-date, and it works. If you find yourself especially money-conscious in these hard times but still looking furiously for something to simplify and streamline your list-making process, why not hop over to the Clipbird website and try it out? It’s freeware, after all.
