McCain is a birder?
Recently I heard on the news that Presidential nominee John McCain is a birder. This is quite interesting, and I wish they would do more to cover it.
I heard Lindsey Graham make some off-color remarks about how Senator McCain talking about birding was more torturous than being a prisoner at Guantanamo Bay, which sort of tainted my esteem of the whole situation. Senator Graham is a friend of McCain’s apparently.
Whatever your political affiliations are (mine are probably somewhat more to the left of the older generations) this is at the very least an interesting issue and one worth thinking about in the next month or two until the election.
What are your thoughts?
