Bizarre behavior at political conventions

At the recent Democratic National Convention in Denver, there were some strange protests going on. Most notably to birders, a bizarre group called “stop bird porn” was there. Apparently their group believes that bird watchers and birders get some kind of sexual gratification from watching birds, particularly they seem to be under the impression that birders go out to watch birds in order to see the birds mate, for the express purpose of getting some kind of bestial gratification. You can inspect their site for yourself, it all seems a little too intense to be a hoax, but it almost seems like something that would have to be a hoax, because it’s just too out there to be real.
